The Time I Went on a Study Tour

Hello my lovelies!

I know I’ve been MIA for a couple of weeks now.

Well, I guess I have to admit it. I’ve been reading too much and I lost track of time. I read like 8 books this month which is HUGE for me.

TrivandrumAlso last week I had a study tour which I had to prepare for. Did I actually prepare? Of course not! Procrastination, my old friend, dropped by for a visit. But did I spend every minute dreaming of studying and preparing?Obviously I did! (and that counts, okay?)  ( I still dream about the day where my ‘studying’  isn’t going through the book an hour before the exam).

Anyway, as you guys know, I am an economics student. But that doesn’t mean I love all parts of economics. I love microeconomics (cost, production, etcetera). I hate Macroeconomics. I hate budgets and taxes. They make my eyes hurt!

Now, I had to attend a budget awareness program in Trivandrum (for 2 days) with my financial journalism class. It sounds fun, right? 5 hours on the train with your friends?

But I also had to attend 12 hours of classes on taxes! It was such a specific form of hell (and I’m kind of impressed?).

It wasn’t all bad. I had a lot of fun. My friends and I stayed up all night talking. And I hadn’t traveled in a long time, so I’m really happy I got to go on this trip.

I also learned a lot. Like our economy is sh*t and going to hell, and there’s no hope.
Trivandrum
It was so much fun!

But I also got sick ( I’ve been sick the whole week). So I spent the whole week sleeping, eating cake and wallowing in self-pity ( cos I’m a miserable sick).

I’ve got my Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Prisoner of Azkaban reread reviews coming up next!

I’m reading The Forbidden Wish and Rebel of the Sands, and I’m loving both!

Anyway, this was just a little bit of life update.  *waves*

Glad to know that you’re still alive! We were fearing the worst, but turns out you were just rotting away in your own personal form of hell, happy you’re reading Rebel of the Sands and loving it!
